Between Bozeman and Livingston, the Bridger Mountains are among the most popular ski sites in the area, attracting thousands of skiers a year. On average the Bridger Bowl ski area gets somewhere around 350 inches of snow a year. The Gallatin Valley Mall is located just west of the downtown area, and contains a variety of stores and shops (like Barnes & Noble, and department stores) to get any odds or end that may be needed.
